본고에서는 입시 위주의 교육풍토와 권위적인 아버지의 지나친 학업에 대한 기대로 인하여 강박적인 증상을 보이고 있는 한 여고생 가족에게 학교 상담실에서 실시한 가족치료 사례를 살펴보고자 한다. 이 사례연구를 통하여 우리의 열악한 교육 여건 하에서도 학교 상담실에서 제공된 학생과 그 가족에 대한 지원체계가 어떤 성과를 가져올 수 있었는지 살펴보고 나아가 이러한 문제 전반에 적용 가능한 가족치료의 치료형태와 기법을 모색해 보고자 한다.
This study examines a case of a high school girl\'s obsession with the pressure of studying and her authoritative father\'s expectation of her. Though she has been recieved the therapy at the counseling center in her high school, it is desirable that IP\'s symptom should be recognizd as the structural dysfunction of the family system than as the individual pathology. That is why the structural theory os first of all adopted in dealing with her family structure. And then besides this, to illustrate the applicability of the family therapeutic interventions to help this family, various system approaches are generally integrated. This attempt is to overcome the limitations of the specific theoretical framework in intervening in the different and peculiar situations around the family. The therapist hypothesizes various family dynamics in the therapy as follows : low level of differentiation, self-esteem and communication skill, emotional cut-off, unresolved intergenerational emotion, triangle, unclear boundary, coalition, and the dysfunctional pattern in interacting. Nevertheless, through the whole sessions the family has shown a lot of changes in dynamics. Thererfore, this case yields very effective outcome. Recently, IP is doing very well in the University which she is attending.
