In our society, child abuse has been social problems since 1990, and there has been much attention in Korean researchers. However, we do not have either child abuse prevention policies or guidelines in arguing family responsibilities of child abuse, but not of the Korean government. Child abuse tends to be attributed to family itself. From the fact that a family having the 1st responsibilities for feeding and educating children does not perform its role appropriately in the current society, child abuse shall not be treated just as family problem anymore. Therefore, all the members of our society shall actively intervene in this problem for establishing the entire system of supporting and supervising the executions of the roles of parents taking care of their children. In this thesis, I tried to investigated the types and current problems of child abuse, which had been recognised as social problems accompanied with abrupt changes of family cultures.
