본 연구는 장애아동 가족이 참여한 미술치료 중재 관련 연구를 분석하여 장애아동 가족 관련 미술치료중재 의 바람직한 방향을 제시하고자 하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 국내 학술지와 학위논문에 수록된 장 애아동 가족이 참여한 미술치료 중재 연구 39편을 수집하였고 중재 참여자, 중재 환경, 중재 목표 및 내용, 중 재 효과에 사용된 측정 도구, 실험 설계 및 중재 효과에 따라 분석하였다. 연구 결과에 따른 장애아동 가족과 관련된 바람직한 미술치료 중재의 방향으로는 1) 장애아동 가족이 참여한 미술치료는 장애아동 가족의 가족 구 성원 간 의사소통과 기능성을 회복할 수 있도록 가족 구성원을 대상으로 한 미술치료 중재로 실행되어야 하고, 2) 장애아동의 가족이 참여한 미술치료 중재의 효과를 객관적으로 검증하고 평가할 수 있는 평가 척도의 활용 및 다양한 설계 방법에 의한 연구가 이루어져야 하며, 3) 장애아동의 장애로 인한 특성, 장애아동의 가족이 갖 는 심리․정서적 어려움에 대하여 이해하고, 가족 미술치료에 대한 전문성을 확보한 전문가 양성 및 교육이 이 루어져야 함이 제시되었다. 위와 같은 연구 결과는 향후 장애아동과 그 가족을 위한 미술치료 중재를 계획하고 시행하고자 하는 미술치료 전문가들에게 도움을 줄 것이다.
The purpose of this study was to suggest the direction of effective art therapy interventions with regard to families of children with disabilities by reviewing related research articles. Total 39 articles related to art therapy interventions regarding families of children with disabilities were analyzed according to participants, intervention settings, goals of intervention and contents, scales of measurement used for intervention, experimental designs, and effects of intervention. The findings were as follows: The results of this study indicated some ways for effective art therapy interventions related to families of children with disabilities. 1) Art therapies participated families of children with disabilities should be implemented by family members in order for them to communicate each other and to recover their functionality among them. 2) Application of evaluation measurement to testify and evaluate the effectiveness of art therapy interventions, and researches based on various research designs should be conducted. 3) Understanding on characteristics of disabilities of children with disabilities, psychological-emotional difficulties of families of children with disabilities, and also in-service training and education for family art therapy should be carefully considered. These results will help professionals who want to implement the art therapy interventions for children with disabilities and their families in real educational settings.
