본 연구에서는 먼저, 속도와 거리의 변화를 기하학적으로 표현하면서 미적분이 발견된 과정에 해당 되는 미적분의 초기 역사발생 과정을 고찰한다. 그 후에 미적분의 초기 역사발생 과정이 반영되지 못하 고 기호적, 대수적 접근이 중심이 됨으로써 발생되는 문제점을 논의한 선행연구를 고찰하였다. 다음으 로, <수학Ⅱ> 교과서를 분석하여 실제로 학교수학에서 미분 개념을 어떻게 도입하고 있는지를 살펴보고 그 결과 발견되는 문제점을 논의하였다.
As a theoretical background for this research, the literatures which focus on the historicogenetic process in calculus were investigated. Especially, we focus on the development in the early days. During the early days, studies on the change of velocity and displacement focus on graph. And we reviewed the literatures with relation to the problems caused from symbolic and algebraic approach in calculus. Finally, we investigate the introduction process of the differentiation concept through analysis on \'Mathematics II\' textbook and discuss the problems in the teaching of calculus.
