Science and technology has become a very important fact in the modem life. These case would be the purpose of the high school student's education. But in a special situation like the night high school, a new different education progress will be needed.
As a result the purpose of this study is to investigate and compare the attitudes related to science and scientific inquiry skill achievement between the day high school students and the night high school ones.
This survey was made through 624 day high school students and 434 students of the night high school student. The results were analyzed by ANOVA in the statistical packages SAS. The major findings of this study are as follows.
1. The score on the attitudes related to science of the day high school students was 59.7 and that of night high school students was 60.6. The night high school students' score was higher and that nearly had no meaning.
2. The score of scientific inquiry skill achievement of the day high school students was 67.4 and that of the night high school students was 34.8. The day high school students' score was higher and that had meaningful difference(p<0.05)
3. The correlation coefficient between the attitudes related to science and scientific inquiry skill achievement was low.
