This investigation aims to review conventional viewpoint for the subjectivity of
interested area configuration in indoor surroundings. To do that, I have investigated
opinion on interested area and subjectivity in forming the area through the
conversation with teachers and children. I have also checked how reaction comes
out from teachers and children. when interested area is configured not by teachers
but by children preference Results show, first, both teachers and children think
interested area is funny and meaningful spot because interested area is reflecting
children’s demand, and interested area is configured by teachers as a subjectivity.
Second, children think it will be more funny if they configure interested area as a
subjectivity, on the other hand, teachers think it is difficult thing because it will
cause danger and trouble. Third, after configuring and playing in interested area by
child preference, they stated that they could be easily absorbed in it. Besides,
teachers were surprised that children were playing with concentration and safety,
and realized that interested area configuration by children’s preference is
meaningful, which is different from their conventional wisdom that the subjectivity
for interested area configuration should be a teacher.
