The purpose of this study was to investigate the living of male freshmen of early childhood education department in A college. The participants were 4 male freshmen and 1 male senior student of early childhood education department in A college. The data collection was conducted with in-depth interview, group interview, open questionnaire in 2010. The results indicated that the participants have experienced difficulties of making social relationship with their female classmates, doing practical task and the bias of the people. These difficulties they experienced continually during the first year cause the secondary difficulties that they felt shriveling and acted unnatural. The end of the first year, some of them thought they did their best for adjustment and others failed to make adjustments expressed absence in a row and failure getting credit. Although there was a few participants in this study, the results shared with other preceding researches. Based on these results it needs that the program which will be helpful to male freshmen to make adjustments to their major is developed.
