The purpose of this research was to investigate the awareness of the necessity of child sexual violence prevention education and the characteristics of level of implementation according to congnitive and emotional maternal efficacy of mothers of children. For this research, 150 parents living in Chung heong-do were selected, and by using questions that ask mother’s maternal efficacy criterion, awareness of the necessity of child sexual violence prevention education, and level of implementation, data were collected. The core results based on statistical anlysis are as follows. First, group of high level of cognitive efficacy showed higher level of implementation of child sexual violence education in physical, emotional, and situational areas than group of lower level. Second, emotion efficacy level group showed high scores in physical and emotional areas in the awareness of child sexual violence prevention education. Through discussion, the interpretations of the results and implications applied to the development of violence prevention education program.
