Jijis, which are the signs to express the unique thinking activities of East Asian people, claim more significance when they operation in the counteract relationships. There are such combinations of Jijis as Yukhap, Samhap, and Banghap as part of them. Yukhap means the combination of two Jijis, Yin and Yang, and has something to do with the concept of Yukhap mentioned in Jangja and Hoinamja. Meaning the Donggi combination among three Jijis, Samhap are distinguished from the seasonal and directional combinations among three Jijis. The organization principles of Yukhap were examined according to the categories of Ilwolhoihap theory, Ilwolhapsak theory, Wolgeonwoljang theory, and 12 signs of the zodiac theory. The Ilwolhoihap theory states that Yukhap is organized by the Sanghap relations between Wolgeon and Ilwolhoihap at the 12 Sin and Cha on the first day of every lunar month. The first clues for Samhap were first found in Cheonmunhun of Hoinamja. Unlike the current Samhap theory that does not set separate Toguk and treats it the same as Hwaguk, the one in Hoinamja sees Oh as the Saengji of land, Sul as the Wangji of land, and In as the Goji of land and sets Ohsulin as Toguk.
