본 연구의 목적은 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 애착유형에 따른 삶의 만족도와 모자화 반응특성을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구대상은 경상북도 K시와 G시의 5개 유치원에 재원 중인 만 4세와 만 5세의 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니 395명이며, 측정도구는 모자화와 성인애착유형 검사와 삶의 만족도검사이다. 자료분석을 위해 일원변량 분석과 t-test, 빈도분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아기자녀를 둔 어머니의 모자화 반응특성은 안정형, 집착형, 거부형, 두려움형 모두 약간 양호한 수준인 것으로 나타나, 애착유형에 따라 모자화 반응특성은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아기자녀를 둔 어머니의 삶의 만족도에 있어서 정서적 만족도, 인지적 만족도, 그리고 전체의 만족도에서 애착유형에 따라 통계적으로 유의미한 차이 가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아기자녀를 둔 어머니의 삶의 만족도는 정서적 만족도와 인지적 만족도, 그 리고 삶의 만족도 전체에서 모자화 반응특성에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 모자 화 반응특성에서 약간 양호한 집단이 보통집단보다 정서적 만족도, 인지적 만족도, 그리고 전체 삶의 만족도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다.
This study investigated the correlation between the life satisfaction depending on the attachment types of mothers with young children and the characteristics of their Mother-and-Child drawings. The participants were 395 mothers with children aged 4 to 5 attending 5 kindergartens located in cities in the province of Gyeonsangbuk-do. The instruments for this study included the Mother-and-Child drawing test, an adult attachment scale, and a life satisfaction scale. Data were analyzed using a one way ANOVA and frequency analysis. As to the characteristics of the Mother-and-Child drawings by the participants, the types such as stability, obsession, rejection, and fear showed fairly good scores. No significant differences were found between the drawing characteristics and the attachment types of the participants. Second, the sub-categories of life satisfaction including emotional satisfaction, perceptive satisfaction, and overall satisfaction showed significant differences depending on the attachment types of the participants. Third, significant differences were found between the Mother-and-Child drawing characteristics and the participants' life satisfaction, specifically in emotional, perceptive, and overall life satisfaction. These findings suggest that the group which was fairly good on the Mother-and-Child drawing test showed low emotional and perceptive satisfaction. Their overall life satisfaction was also low.
