The purpose of this research is to find that art-therapy take effect on the easing and the decreasing
about internalizing, externalizing problems of the emotional and behavioral disorders of child. The subjects
of this study are 13 year-old boy students, who is in the 6th grade of S elementary school in Seoul. And
the art-therapy programs are carried out 20 times, 60 minutes per 1 week. Resarch instruments are K-CBCL,
Behavior observation Record, HTP. The results obtained are as follows. First, art-therapy has effect on
relieving on social immaturity, attention, aggression and externalizing problems on social ability of the
emotional and behavioral disorders of child. Second, art-therapy has good effect on easing depression,
anxiety like as internalizing probrems of the emotional and behavioral disorders of child. Thus art-therapy
eases and decreases about internalizing, externalizing problems of the emotional and behavioral disorders of
child and it makes the emotional and behavioral disorders of child find and express affirmative ego so it
will make hard inner resources and enhance affirmative emotion. So with the conclusions, the study has a
meaning that art-therapy has effects of the easing and the decreasing about internalizing, externalizing
problems of the emotional and behavioral disorders of child.
