이 논문은 질베르 뒤랑(Gilbert Durand)의 상상계의 인류학적 구조들을 연극치료 작업에서 이미지와 상징의 흐름과 구조 파악의 분석틀로 사용하 여 보고, 그것이 연극치료에서 진단적으로 어떻게 활용될 수 있는지 논의하 는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연극치료 작업에서 참여자가 표현한 다양한 이미지들은 그의 내면세계 를 보여주는 중요한 상징적 정보이기 때문에 이를 정확하게 이해하는 것은 참여자에 대한 진단과 연극치료 작업의 방향 설정 및 치료사의 개입에 매 우 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 질베르 뒤랑의 상상계의 인류학적 구조 들을 이용하여 연극치료 실제 작업에서 참여자가 표현한 이미지를 분석하 고 그 흐름과 구조를 파악하였다. 연구대상은 2010년 3월 9일부터 6월 2일 까지 진행된 총 9회기의 연극치료 작업에 참여한 연구자 본인이다. 작업 전 체를 하나의 큰 흐름으로 볼 때 프로그램이 대상의 내면에 대립되는 이미 지들을 통합하고 성장시키는 종합적 구조의 방향으로 나아가는 구체적인 상상계의 구조가 진행되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 분석을 통해 환자는 상상계의 어느 한 영역에 고착되어 있거나 왜곡된 이미지를 보여줄 가능성이 많은 반면, 건강한 사람은 때에 따라 다양한 상 상의 영역을 오가며 이를 적절하게 표현할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그 결 과 뒤랑의 상상계의 인류학적 구조들이 연극치료 작업에서 참여자를 진단 하고 개입할 수 있는 세부적인 정보와 작업의 목표 및 방향성을 제시해주 는 큰 구조적 틀을 제공하는 중요한 체계임을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 세 가지 의의를 가진다. 첫째, 기존 심리학 이론의 선형적이고 유형화된 틀을 벗어나 인간 존재를 온전히 이해할 수 있는 의미론적 맥락 의 진단 근거를 제시하였다. 둘째, 역동성과 다의성으로 인해 논리적인 학 문영역에서 배척당하고 문학이론으로 치부되어온 상상계의 방법론이 실제 인간 심리를 다루는 치료 영역에서도 그 의미가 있음을 증명하였다. 셋째, 질베르 뒤랑의 상상계의 구조들을 통한 연극치료 작업 분석 결과, 연극 활 동에서 상상계를 적극적으로 활용하는 과정이 심리치료에 매우 효과적임을 알 수 있었다.
This aim of this study is to utilize Les structures anthropologiques de l'imaginaire created by Gilbert Durand as an analysis frame of the image and symbolic representation and then, to examine its feasibility how it could be utilized in the drama therapy process. Due to the fact that an accurate understanding on various images expressed by a participant is crucially symbolic information to show the participant’s inner side, it is an essential point for a participant’s diagnosis, a design of the drama therapy and therapist treatments in the drama therapy. This study thus is to analyse participant’s images and to figure out its flow and frame in the actual work via Les structures anthropologiques de l'imaginaire. An object of this study is a researcher’s own who participated 9 times drama therapy from March 9th to June 2nd in 2010. As a result. this study found that a detail imaginary structure was progressed in the working process. In overall process, it can be shown that this study made conflicting images proceed into a synthétique construction to integrate and develop them. Throughout the analysis, it can be known that a patient tend to set in an area of the imaginary and show distorted images, while a sound person is able to freely explore over the imaginary and suitably express it. As previously mentioned above, it can be concluded that Les structures anthropologiques de l'imaginaire created by Gilbert Durand is able to be a systematic approaches to precisely diagnose participants and come up with a frame of detail information and an accurate working aim to a therapist in a drama therapy. The significance of this study includes: 1) To come up with the sematic context basis to precisely understand human beings beyond the linear and stereotypic territory of previous psychological theories 2) To offer proof that a methodology of the imaginary, that is only keeping alive within a literary theory apart from the logical academy areas due to its being polysemy and dynamic, could be applicable as a treatment in the psychological area. 3) To verify the effectiveness of the highly imaginary usage process in a drama activity based on a result from a drama therapy via the Gilbert Durand’s imaginary structures systematic and logical.
