본 연구의 목적은 유아교육기관의 질 관리를 위한 평가인증 영역 중 건강과 영양 그리고 안전영역에 어떠한 평가내용들이 포함되어야 하는가를 알아보는데 있다. 자료수집 및 분석은 미국 NAEYC의 Accreditation Criteria & Procedures(1998년)와 호주 NCAC의 QIAS(Quality Improvement and Accreditation System)의 Quality Practices Guide의 기준, 그리고 우리나라 여성가족부 보육시설 평가인증지표의 건강, 영양, 안전 영역을 비교⋅분 석하고, 관련 선행연구를 검토한 내용을 중심으로 이루어졌다. 연구결과, 건강과 영양영역에는 조리자의 건강검진과 그 기록 보관 항목이 포함되어져야 하 며, 안전영역에는 학대와 방임에 대한 보고의무 항목과 소풍 및 현장견학 시 안전점검 항목이 포함되어야 함을 제언하였다. 본 연구는 유아교육 및 보육의 선진국의 사례를 통하여 평가인증에 관련된 연구를 확장하 고, 건강과 영양 그리고 안전영역에 포함되어야 할 평가내용들을 탐색하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
This study examined domain of 'Health ＆ Nutrition' and 'Safety' in child care policy of accreditation of child education and care center. Data collected and analyzed by Accreditation Criteria & Procedures of NAEYC (1998), Quality Practices Guide of QIAS(Quality Improvement and Accreditation System) of NCAC and accreditation of child care center in korea. Collected data was compared with one another and ‘Health ＆ Nutrition' and 'Safety' researches. In conclusion, It made the suggestion that it must include medical check up on a cooker´s health in domain of 'Health ＆ Nutrition'. And accreditation of child care center in korea must contain a duty of report about abusive & permissive parents and a check of security on their going for an outing & on-the-spot study. This study is significant in the sense of extent of investigation related Quality of child care service from Evaluation System of an advanced nation in Accreditation of child education and care center in Korea.
