본 연구는 2004년 영유아보육법 전면개정이 보육서비스의 질적인 수준에 가장 중요한 요 인인 보육교사의 양성정책에 미친 영향을 파악하기 위해 교사자격제도와 현재 진행되고 있는 교사양성교육 및 보수교육과 같은 교사교육의 현황을 분석하였다. 결론적으로 말하면, 보육서비스의 질적 수준에 가장 큰 영향을 미치고 있는 보육교사의 전문성은 보육교사 양성과정과 보수교육과 같은 교사교육을 통해 배양되고 있다. 따라서 전문적인 보육교사를 양성을 위해서는 보육교사 양성교육과정을 체계화하고, 실직적인 표준화를 통해 보육인력의 자격관리 및 전문성을 강화해야한다. 또한 다양한 양성과정의 일원화와 더불어 자격 취득 교육연한에 따른 승진연한의 차등, 보육자격취득 이수 학점 상향 등을 통하여 보육교사의 전문성 향상을 유도해야한다. 또한 지속적인 보육교사의 전문성 유지를 위한 현직 보수교육은 교사의 발달단계와 교육경력을 고려한 유연성 있 는 교육과정이 운영될 수 있는 제도적인 지원을 해야 한다.
This research is analyzed on the educational and maintenance system of educare teachers to know how the 2004 amendatory of educare-system influences the high quality educare service. As the results, the most important factor of the high quality in the educare service system is a educare teacher's speciality which is developed by education and maintenance system of educare teachers. So that, for increasing the specialty of teacher it is necessary to organize the education system and enforce the teacher's license system by standarding the education curriculum. It is necessary to elevate the specialty of educare teacher by increasing the credits and periods of educare teacher's licence. Also, for the maintenance of the educare teacher's speciality it is necessary to support the operating the flexible curriculum considered the teacher's career and developing stage.
