본 연구는 영유아보육법 제21조 제2항(보육시설장 또는 보육교사 자격 규정) 중 관련교과목에 대한 유권해석이 필요한 부분에 대한 기준을 마련하고, 양성기관에서 이루어지는 보육관련 교과목의 질적 수준을 유지하고자 시행되었다. 또한 이 결과를 토대로 추후에 있을 보육교사 자격기준에 대한 관련법률 개정 시 보다 전문성이 담보된 자격 요건에 대한 개선안을 선제적으로 마련하고자 하는데 목적을 두었다. 본 연구에서는 보육자격관리사무국이 총괄하는 보육인력의 전문성 제고를 위한 표준교과 개요연구 중 일부인 보육기초 영역만을 다루고 있다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the contents of curriculum for child care teacher's licence in the subjects of Child Welfare, Introduction to Child Care and Education, Child Development, and Curriculum for Child Care and Education and develop a standard curriculum. The ultimate goal of this study is to maintain or improve the qualities of pre-education for child care teacher's licence. To do it, we collected 2, 3, 4 year universities' syllabi in the basic courses of child care teacher's licence and textbooks listed in the syllabi and analyzed them thoroughly. Based on the results, we developed a standard curriculum for 4 basic subjects. Some problems and suggestions were discussed for curriculum of child care teacher's licence.
