최근 아빠와 함께 여행하는 방송 프로그램이 큰 인기를 끌고 사회적 이슈가 될 정도로 자녀 양육에 있어서 아버지 역할에 대한 사회적 인식이 변모하고 있다. 특히 양성성이 강 조되는 사회적 변화나 핵가족화 등 가족유형의 변화 등으로 인하여 ‘아버지 역할의 재발견 시대’(Lamb, 1997)라는 표현이 있을 정도로 아버지의 양육 참여가 강조되고 있다(Morman & Floyd, 2002). 전통사회에서는 아버지 역할에 물질적 제공과 같은 도구적 역할이 강조되었 다면 오늘날은 아버지의 자녀 양육에의 직접적 참여의 중요성이 인식되고 있다(Hoffman, 1989; Lamb, 2004). 또한 여성의 사회진출이 활발해지면서 우리나라의 경우 경제활동 참가 율이 1980년의 42.8%이 2011년에는 49.7%로 증가하였고, 그 중 기혼여성의 경제활동 참가 율은 49.7%로 나타났는데(통계청, 2012), 이러한 요인들이 복합적으로 작용하면서 아버지의 자녀 양육 참여는 더욱 중요해지고 있다.
The purpose of this study was to clarify that father's parenting participation and parenting style to effect their child's prosocial behaviors. The target on this study 326 preschoolers and their father. So this study collected 326 preschooler's data for statistics analysis to use SPSS 13.0. At the result this study follow that; At first, the father's parenting paticipation was not to relate his sociodemography as age, education career and economic state. Second, the father's authoritative parenting style showed to related the preschoolers' prosocial behavior. Third, the father's parenting participation was not to connect the preschoolers' prosocial behavior. Fourth, the father's authoritarian parenting style was to negative effect for the preschoolers' prosocial behavior. This study will be to offer the recent father's need for parenting role that to develop program and to use basic data parent education.
