본 연구에서는 중학생과 인문계 및 실업계 고등학생을 대상으로 하여 인구통제학적 변인별로 진로의사결정 효능감, 진로의사결정, 진로성숙에 있어서 차이가 있는지를 조사하고, 진로의사결정 효능감이 진로의사결정이나 진로성숙에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지에 대해 분석하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 우선 생별에 따라서는 진로의사결정 효능감과 진로성숙에 있어서 차이가 있었는데, 이것은 남학생이 여학생보다 더 높은 수준의 진로의사결정 효능감과 진로성숙 수준을 보인다는 것이다. 학교급별에 따라서는 진로의사결정과 진로성숙이, 지각된 성적별로는 진로의사결정 효능감과 진로성숙이, 그리고 지각된 가장 환경별로는 진로의사결정 효능감, 진로의사결정, 진로성숙이 모두 의미있는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 진로의사결정 효능감이 진로의사결정이나 진로 성숙에 어느 정도 영향을 미치는지 조사한 결과, 진로의사결정과 진로성숙에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 밝혀졌다.
The purpose of the present study was to investigate the differences of career decision-making efficacy, career decision-making, and career maturity according to gender, grade, perceived school achievement, and perceived socio-economicstatus, and to analyze the effect of career decision-making efficacy on career decision→making and career maturity. The findings of the study were as follows: First, there was gender difference in career decision-making efficacy and career maturity. It meant male students showed higher level of career decision-making efficacy and career maturity. Second, there was grade difference in career decision-making and career maturity. Third, there was perceive school achievement difference in career decision-making efficacy and career maturity. Fourth, there was perceived socio-economic status difference in career decision-making efficacy, career decision-making, and career maturity. Finally, career decision-making efficacy turned out to have an influence on career decision-making and career maturity.
