Recently school violence has been serious. Though nation-wide movements against school violence have been made, it has been increasing and what is worse, it has been more violent and cruel. The subjects of investigation, however, are the teenagers who are premature intellectually and emotionally. In addition, they will be likely to play important roles in our society in the future. We are convinced school violence must be studied in various angles and then alternatives for it have to be carefully prepared. Because there are essentially complicating aspects in school violence, it is thought that cooperative researches are desirable. Accordingly, this study has been carried out in based on that view point. We have tried to find out the causes and process of violences through investigating the actual conditions. While the previous studies have been made focused on offensive teenagers, this study has been done about victims and educational and social environments as well as offenders. Furthermore, we intend to propose the effective ways to prevent school violence and to prepare the alternatives against it.
