영문초록

In India, the year 2002 had been decided as the 'Year of Quality Assurance'. The concept of quality has become increasingly complex with changes that education is undergoing throughout the world. Quality in education means pursuit of excellence, consistency and fairness, satisfaction of client needs and appropriate deployment of resources. Quality improvement is a multifaceted concept, with different meanings in the eyes of students, teachers, administrators and parents. At present, the concern for quality improvement has prompted several different educational organizations to develop principles, guidelines or benchmarks to ensure quality of the various educational systems.
