이 연구의 목적은 첫째, 시각장애인의 배경변인에 따른 여가제약, 여가동기, 여가만족의 차이를 알아보는 데에 있다. 전국의 시 각장애인 복지시설을 이용하는 시각장애인을 모집단으로 선정하였으며, 총 197부의 자료를 분석하였다. 통계분석 방법은 SPSS Window version 18.0 통계프로그램을 활용하여 전산처리를 하였으며, 빈도분석(frequency analysis), 독립표본 t-검증(independent t-test), 일원분산분석(one-way ANOVA)을 이용하였다. 연구결과, 시각장애인의 배경변인(성별, 연령, 학력, 장애등급, 장애발생 시 기)에 따라 여가제약, 여가동기, 여가만족은 부분적으로 차이가 나타났다. 구체적으로 살펴보면, 시각장애인의 성별, 장애발생 시 기에 따라 여가제약에 차이가 나타났고, 성별에 따라 여가동기에 차이가 나타났으며, 성별, 연령, 학력에 따라 여가만족에 차이가 나타났다. 이 연구의 결과는 시각장애인 뿐 아니라 모든 장애인이 여가를 원활하게 참여하고, 개인의 삶의 질을 높이는 데에 도움 을 줄 수 있는 기초자료를 제공한다는 점에 그 의의가 있다.
The purposes of this study was to verify the difference in leisure constraint, leisure motivation and leisure satisfaction according to visually-impaired persons' socio-demographic characteristics. To achieve such purpose, visually-impaired persons using visually-impaired persons' facilities in Korea, 197 sets became the final purposive sample for this study. As for statistical analysis of the collected data, the SPSS Window statistical program was used for analysis, such as frequency analysis, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA were conducted. Conclusions are as follows. Visually-impaired persons' socio-demographic characteristics (gender, age, level of education, disability ratings, onset of disabilities) brought about partial difference in leisure constraint, leisure motivation and leisure satisfaction. Specifically, visually-impaired persons' age and onset of disabilities brought about difference in leisure constraint, with their age bringing about difference in leisure motivation, and with their gender, age, level of education bringing about difference in leisure satisfaction.
