The purpose of this study is to analyze teaching profession life of kindergarten teachers who have
their young children on three categories of teacher development, such as knowledge and skill,
self-understanding and ecological development. In this study, researcher had an interview five public
kindergarten teachers who have their young children for 8 months. The results are summarized as
following. First, in the aspect of self-understanding, kindergarten teachers having young children
recognized importance of early childhood teachers and understood themselves positively. Next, in the
aspect of knowledge and skill, they improved the developmental knowledge through the observation
of their children and could consider parents' position. Finally, for the ecological category, they
sympathized with parents and colleague teachers through the experience of parenting. In this study
as the final outcome, basic data could be obtained, in other words kindergarten teachers' experience
of maternity and parenting influences on the teacher development. Moreover, it is considered to train
teachers according to the re-recognition of married for teachers' professional development and life
cycle in terms of teacher education.
