The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the naming activity using MeFOT on younger children's creativity and difference in that effect according to those children's gender. For the purpose, this researcher surveyed 45 younger children. To measure those children's creativity, the researcher used the Korean TTCT(Figure) B , an adaptation by Kim Young Chae(2002) of the Torrance Test Creativity Thinking(TTCT, revised in 1990) which was developed by Torrance(1962). The study was proceeded from the pre-test to 6--week experimental treatments and to the post-test. Findings of the study can be summarized as follows. First, the naming activity using MeFOT is effective in improving younger children's cretivity, especially its sub-area, that is, fluency. Second, the effect of the naming activity using MeFOT is not different according to younger children's gender. Thus, that activity effectively improves younger children's creativity, especially their fluency, irrespective of their gender.
