山崎闇?(1618～1682, 名は嘉, 字は敬義（もりよし))は江?前期 を代表する儒?者の一人である。日本では中世に公家の博士家や五 山とよばれる?宗寺院で儒?が?ばれていたが, 本格的に普及する のは安土?桃山時代から江?時代になってからのことである。そう した日本儒?のパイオニアとしては, 藤原惺窩(1561～1619, 名は?, 字は斂夫), 林羅山(1583～1657, 名は忠?信勝, 字は子信), 中江藤樹 (1608～1648, 名は原（はじめ), 字は惟命（これなが))がよく知られ ている。
This is a key note on the relationship between Toegye Yi Hwang(退溪李滉) of korea and Yamazaki Ansai(山崎闇齋) of japan. I, Through this, try to inquiry what is the meaning the two thoughter's Simhak(心?: mind philosophy) again, here and now. Yamazaki Ansai respects Toegye, but he discontented with Toegye's esteeming Cheng's 『Simgyong- buju(心?附註)』. But what is the reason? In this key note, I will examine this subject now.
