Recently, the Korean historians and their societies majoring in the ancient Korean history have been enlightened by the discoveries of the inscriptions of the stelae and the wooden Tables(or Documents), which could lay the foundations for a further cognition and interpretation about that time. Until recently, the history of the Paekche kingdom, one of the three kingdoms during ancient Korean civilization, could never understand wholly for lack of the documents, and stone and wooden inscriptions. In 1995, a wooden table discovered at Puyo hinted about social and economic history of the later period of the kingdom On the while, another kingdom, Shilla, could also be understood firmly about a rapidly development of the king's power, a capital system formation called Yukbu(6部), an official grade system included and related firmly not only the Court and central people but also Provinces', and a completely control of its territories by the discovery of sixth-century inscriptions. Also, because of the Wooden Tablets dated in the later-sixth, early-seventh, and later -eighth century respectively, the historians could easily understand the process of national building about politics, taxation, transportation system every century. And so, these new historical materials enlarged the ancient Korean researching visions and interpretations from the macro-sighted discourse which had oriented in the political power structure, the diplomatic and military wars, and ideologies through an important documentary book, ~gi. into the micro-sighted one such as social and economic facts. The recently micro-sighted historical approaches and trends in the ancient Korean history, above all things, have been affected from these new material discoveries. Also, the historians should seek to find a corresponding formula to harmonize with each other.
