Koryo and Chosen's recommendation system that had ran to select able scholars and literates was one of the important official appointment systems in the traditional Korean societies. But, the selecting measure and condition was so much subjective that it was very difficulty to recommend appropriate people. To complement these insufficient technical points, a new checking system was enforced in the recommendation system. this was called the Genuyeonia-system(거주연좌제). When the introducer recommended an unable man as an official, and he did unjust works, the introduce had to be punished with a recommended person. This system firmly began at the Chinese Song dynasty. And, the traditional Korea dynasties such as Koryo and Chosen also began to use this system. But it was not effective in the traditional Korean dynasties because it was enforced and applied uneffectively.
