The analysis of illustration presented in the Korean art text-book takes a crucial role of the key to make a diagnosis about the artistic culture embeded in post-modernism. In this sense, I explore the historical background about the theory of art and culture penetrated in Avant-garde and Post-modernism to prospect artistic aspect. Thus, I believe that it is very useful for a triangular position to explore the capability empowerment in the context of art education from the communication ability in the scene of post-modern art. The purpose of this study is to refine the meaning of text for art education in the context of cultural, social and political change in Korean educational environment. In addition, the analysis of art text book carries out authentic research in the parameter of political influence come into view in Korean art educational environment. Therefore, the comparative analysis of illustration presented art text-book implements ideal application to prospect the social-justification and contextualjustification in the context of art education.
