2007년 국가수준의 수시 개정 교육과정 에서 비 롯 된 중학교 미 술교과서 는 1, 2, 3학년 으로 분류되었던 종래의 교과서의 형태와 탈리 합본 형 태 로 추진되어 한권의 책으로 묶 여지게 되었으며， 총 9 종류의 중학교 미술교과서가 2010년부터 학교현장에서 쓰 이 고 있다 이러한 교과서의 과도기적 양상과 더불어 새로운 교육과정 이 실행되기도 전 에 또 다른 교육과정의 개정에 관한 일련의 움직임과 그 내용은 미술교육이 위축되는 우려를 야기하고 있다. 주지하듯 이 ‘2009 개정 교육과정 ’에 관한 공청회(한국교육과정 평가원， 2010. 5. 26) 에서 논의 된 것은， 미술교육의 근간이 바뀌는 ‘예술군(음악/미술)’ 의 실행과 ‘집중이수제’라는 전대미문의 제도를 강행하고자하는 시도로 요약할 수 있 다. 이것은 ⌈체육， 예술(음악/미술)과 교육과정 개선 방안⌋ (한국교육과정평가원， 2010, 이원희)이라고 한 원고의 제목에서 정책 방향과 사태 를 짐작 할 수 있다. ‘2ω9 개정 교육과정’은 미술교육의 정당성과 제반 이론에 심각하게 배치되 는 양상을 보이고 있 다. 더욱이 사회 · 정치적 맥락에서 요구되는 교육적 내용이 부당할지라도 하나의 교 육정책으로 입안되고 실행되면 그 파급 효과가 미치는 부정적인 요인은 상당기간 지 속되는 교육적 오류의 위험성을 안게 되므로 신중을 기해야 한다.
The analysis of illustration presented in the Korean art text-book takes a crucial role of the key to make a diagnosis about the artistic culture embeded in post-modernism. In this sense, I explore the historical background about the theory of art and culture penetrated in Avant-garde and Post-modernism to prospect artistic aspect. Thus, I believe that it is very useful for a triangular position to explore the capability empowerment in the context of art education from the communication ability in the scene of post-modern art. The purpose of this study is to refine the meaning of text for art education in the context of cultural, social and political change in Korean educational environment. In addition, the analysis of art text book carries out authentic research in the parameter of political influence come into view in Korean art educational environment. Therefore, the comparative analysis of illustration presented art text-book implements ideal application to prospect the social-justification and contextualjustification in the context of art education.
