영문초록

The human being have a desire of self-expression instinctly. Art is a kind of methods for self-expression and especially it is a more vital way for young children who are restricted to express their ideas and feelings by language. Therefore, young children’s Art activities take place spontaniously. And it become to start as a type of arts play with materials. These are at hand in their invironments. However, This art activity is limited by various conditions which are far from primary art activities when it is carried out as a school program. So, Art teachers must be lead to children to creative expression in their ways through harmonized teaching method. To the creative expression in the process of working, the art activities must to provide the problem-solving/decision-making opportunities for the youngasters. There are three steps that can be able to chosen by the young children in the process of working; first, best the topic for the art work. second, the way it will be expressed. third, the organized of it. It is the method that open three stepes because it can lead the young children to creative expression. And also another methods that open over two steps in the three steps are available. According to this research, but, unfortunately the most of preschools in Korea have been used the dictated art which not open three steps at all in the process of working(73.6%). The dictated art provides no satisfaction to the young children, and it deprives self-confidence from children and it causes dependent thinking for them. So, It contributes to young sters to become a conformable person who obeys to outhority. It appeared that the frequency of reliance of stereo-type material(Crepas-sketchbook) is very high(76.9%). That is a serious fact which can provide no opportunities to the young children in their working process. The young children will be able to organize art materials that they will want to use in their ways when art teachers will can provide various basic materials. I think our goal for art Education will be acheived the art teachers when they will carry out the art program which harmonized and integrated activities that include children’s physical, emotional, speech, cognition development.
