This study aims to find out the effects of the integrative arts therapy on the emotional regulation and
interpersonal relations of unmarried woman with the borderline personality disorder. This study had carried
on the program to unmarried women 32 old years with the borderline personality disorder at N counseling
and psychotherapy center in S city, total 24 times, 60-90mins each program, twice per a week on 12th
September-13th December 2013. For the study result analysis, the test subjects had done two tests of The
Korean Version of the Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (K-DERS) and Relationship Change Scale
(RCS) before and after the program and the change rates of them were analyzed in quantitative method.
Plus, each times had been recorded and analyzed on the qualitative change of symptom too. This study has
resulted as follows: First, integrative arts therapy is positive effect on the emotion regulation of unmarried
woman with the borderline personality disorder. Second, integrative arts therapy has positive effect on the
interpersonal relations of unmarried woman with the borderline personality disorder. This study suggests
the basis of the emotion regulation and interpersonal relations effects on the unmarried woman who has
the borderline personality disorder as well as is meaningful to make the experiential case study.
