The purpose of this study was investigate effect of new sports program application on the creative personality
in elementary school students. For achieving the purpose, J elementary school students were to apply of the
general physical education curriculum(3 weeks, 24 times) by control group (N = 175), D elementary school
students were to apply of the new sports program(3 weeks, 24 times) by experimental group(N = 172). Both J
and D elementary schools located in jinju city. For statistical analysis, control group and experimental group
confirmed to be same by independent t-test with PASW 18.0 and paired t-test was fulfilled so as to analyze
the each group’s changes before and after in program application. Through the studying method like that,
effect of the new sports program on creative personality was analyzed and below results were obtained. The
sub items of creative personality, curiosity, imagination, patience and tenacity, humor, self-confidence and
openness were showed significantly difference(p<.05) on experimental group. But control group did not show
significantly difference(p<.05). In independence, only men’s case of experimental group was showed significantly
difference(p<.05). In adventurous, both the control and experimental groups did not show significantly
difference(p<.05)
