본 연구는 군 초급지휘자의 효과적인 병력관리를 위한 군사회복지실천기술(military social welfare practicing skill) 향상을 위한 교육소요, 교육방법 등을 도출하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서 자료 분석을 통해 얻은 결과는 첫째, 군 초급지휘자의 효과적인 병력관리를 위하여 군사회복지실천기술 능력 향상 교육이 필요하며, 군 교육기관의 교과에 반영하여 8~16시간 이상의 교육을 희망하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 군사회복지실천기술중 군의 특성 및 병사들의 특성을 고려하여 개입 및 문제 해결능력 향상 교육 이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교육방법은 실습위주로 교육 종료 후 직접 활용이 가능한 교육방법을 선호 하고 있으며, 교육은 군사회복지 전문가와 군 간부가 병행하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로, 각 군에서는 양성 및 보수교육 기관에서 군사회복지실천기술 교육이 실시 될 수 있도록 해야 함을 제언하였다.
The purpose of this research is to readdress and elicit the educational necessity, educational requirements, and education methods in order to enhance military social welfare practicing skills of junior military leaders in managing their assigned personnel in a much more effective way. The result driven from this research is as follows: Firstly, according to the analysis result, military social welfare practicing skills enhancement educational program is necessary for improving junior military leaders' effective management of their assigned personnel and a minimal 8~16 hours education program should be included into education courses provided by military educational institutions. Secondly, the so-called “intervention” skill among military social welfare practicing skills should be practiced by undertaking short-term problem-solving oriented educational program in consideration of military and each welfare man's characteristics. Thirdly, as for the education methods, practice training following up with actual educational program to help junior officers directly apply what they have learned during the program to real life circumstances is preferred and both military social welfare expert and military drill instructor should oversee the overall program. The result of this research suggests that each welfare is recommended to let military education institutions develop organic educational program to teach military social welfare practicing skills.
