본 연구에서는 지역아동센터를 이용하는 아동을 대상으로 지역아동센터 프로그램에 대한 만족도 를 파악해 보고, 지역아동센터의 필요성에 대한 아동의 인식, 운영시간에 대한 아동의 요구를 알 아보기 위해, 초등학생 378명을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 지역아동센터 프로 그램 만족도는 ‘특별활동프로그램’(4.16)이 가장 높았고, ‘건강 및 안전지도’(4.07), ‘교사와 상호작 용’(4,06)순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 지역아동센터가 필요한 이유에 대한 아동의 생각을 살펴보면 ‘안 심하고 놀 수 있어서’가 가장(39.9%) 많았고, 다음으로는 ‘다른 곳보다 마음이 편해서’(20.6%), ‘친 구를 사귈 수 있어서’(20.4%)의 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 아동의 지역아동센터 평일 희망 운영 시간 대를 살펴보면 ‘방과후～7시’(71.8%)가 압도적으로 많았고, 응답자의 28.2% 정도는 ‘방과후～야간’ 을 희망하였다.
The purpose of this study were to analyze the satisfaction and need of student in Community children's center. For this purpose, former dissertation and literatures related to community children's center were reviewed. Questionnaire methods were employed. The data were gathered though the questionnaires from 378 children attending community children's center. The major finding of this study are as follow: First, Most of the student were satisfied with cultural experience program in Community children's center. Second, the necessity of Community children's center was environment that student play with safely. Third, student want to run from after school to 7pm.
