사회복지사는 흔히 집단을 대상으로 실천한다. 그러므로 사회복지사가 기술적으로 집단을 계획하고 집단의 목적, 구조, 구성 등을 조직적으로 세우는 것은 다른 모든 것들에 선행되어야 하여 이러한 과정들이 효과적인 사정과 개입 그리고 궁극적인 집단의 성공 둘 다를 위한 기초 작업위에 놓여야하는 것은 당연한 일이다. 그러나 지금까지 한국의 사회사업계에선 어떻게 집단사회사업실천가로서의 훈련을 받을 수 있는지에 대한 논의가 충분히 이루어지지 않는 실정에 있다. 무엇보다 집단 사회사업실천가를 양성하기 위한 교육과정 및 교육체계의 부족은 더 큰 문제라고 본다. 특히, 사회복지사 국가시험과목에 밀려 과거 필수 과목으로 강의되어 오던 “Group Work” 과목이 ‘사회사업 실천’과 ‘사회사업실천기술론’에 포함됨으로써 과목의 비중 자체가 축소․약화된 것은 사회복지 전문화에 대한 커다란 위협으로 작용하고 있다고 본다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 현실에 대한 하나의 보완책으로 집단사회사업실천가 양성 교육과정을 제안하였으며 집단사회사업실천가를 양성하기 위한 효과적인 교육방법에는 어떤 것이 있는지, 그리고 이를 위해 집단지도자의 수련과정에서 많이 활용되고 있는 T-집단을 통한 집단사회사업실천가의 교육․훈련 방안은 무엇인지를 제안함으로써 한국의 집단사회사업실천계가 나아갈 수 있는 가능한 방법들 중의 하나를 모색해 보았다.

As the author realized that is first need introduction to training group in to the social group work. Therefore, this study would look in to as following: Today, the concepts of training groups confused among the people. So, there was defined of conception to these T- groups and look into different with T- group. There is explored the possibility of deterioration effects in these T-group in which none of negative outcome have been reported, some foreign studies on negative out comes or casuality were reviewed in, T-groups and were discussed some methodological limitation to be found in most researches on the effect in T-group. And the clarify the variables to deteriorate the effects in this T-groups some articles were reviewed in 3 facets of member, reader, and group process.
