The purpose of the study is to present teaching contents and direction by surveying tendency of elementary school students\' color arrangement. The objects of the study consisted of 409 students of each grade two classes from an elementary school in seoul. The result of the survey was shown as follows. Color arrangement of elementary school students varies as sex, grade and location of color. First, the value color arrangement of elementary school students, they like value color arrangement of black and white. Girl students like better the color arrangement by big value difference than boys. Second, the area color arrangement of elementary school student. In area rate of orange and blue color arrangement, most of all they like the area rate of 2: 2, secondly 2:3, thirdly 2:1. Students in 5th grade and 6th grade dislike 2:2 rates but they like 2:3 rates more and more. Third, the hue color arrangement of elementary school students. On the side of red, they like orange color arrangement. Students in 1th grade and 2th grade, they like similar hue color arrangement of red and orange. Students in 5th grade and 6th grade, they like apposite contrast hue color arrangement. For example, red and blue. Forth, all the case of the color arrangement by hue, value and area, when the standard color is located on the left side, they like better big different color arrangement on the right side.
