A General Educator’s Instructional Differentiations for Students with Mathematics Disabilities in Standards-Based Mathematics Classroom in the U.S.
Sun A Kim 한국학습장애학회 학습장애연구 37 Pages
한국학습장애학회 학습장애연구 2014, Vol.11 No.1 9 205-241 (37 pages)
This study employed an embedded, single-case study methodology to examine how a general education teacher differentiates mathematics instruction for her students with mathematics disabilities in standardsbased mathematics classroom. The findings of this study indicated that the general education teacher endeavored to differentiate mathematics instruction for her students with mathematics disabilities using diverse components of effective mathematics instruction, but her differentiation was... -
Effects of synthesis pressure conditions on the preparation of graphene-like carbonaceous materials from organic liquid precursors by a solvothermal method
Kwan-Woo Kim, Byoung Suhk Kim, Sang Won Lee, Dong Chul Chung, Byung-Joo Kim 한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 5 Pages
한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 2017, Vol.23 11 74-78 (5 pages)
Carbon materials with at least one dimension of 1?100 nm are called carbon nanomaterials. A significant body of previous research in physics, chemistry and biology has demonstrated that the properties of nano-composites are significantly different than those of the bulk materials [1]. Some unique phenomena, such as the quantum tunneling effect, and surface effects, have also been observed, and attributed to the large surface area and small size of the carbon nanomaterials. It has been reported... -
Double-walled carbon nanotubes: synthesis, structural characterization, and application
Yoong Ahm Kim, Kap-Seung Yang, Hiroyuki Muramatsu, Takuya Hayashi, Morinobu Endo, Mauricio Terrones, Mildred S. Dresselhaus 한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 12 Pages
한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 2014, Vol.15 No.2 4 77-88 (12 pages)
Double walled carbon nanotubes (DWCNTs) are considered an ideal model for studying the coupling interactions between different concentric shells in multi-walled CNTs. Due to their intrinsic coaxial structures they are mechanically, thermally, and structurally more stable than single walled CNTs. Geometrically, owing to the buffer-like function of the outer tubes in DWCNTs, the inner tubes exhibit exciting transport and optical properties that lend them promise in the fabrication of field-effect... -

Development of a monoclonal antibody against deoxynivalenol for magnetic nanoparticle-based extraction and an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay
Hyuk-Mi Lee, Sung-Ok Song, Sang-Ho Cha, Sung-Bok Wee, Karyn Bischoff, Sung-Won Park, Seong-Wan Son, Hwan-Goo Kang*, Myung-Haing 대한수의학회 Journal of Veterinary Science 8 Pages
대한수의학회 Journal of Veterinary Science 2013, 제 14권 제 2호 5 143-150 (8 pages)
Monoclonal antibody (mAb, NVRQS-DON) against deoxynivalenol (DON) was prepared. DON-Ag coated enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and DON-Ab coated ELISA were prepared by coating the DON-BSA and DON mAb. Quantitative DON calculation ranged from 50 to 4,000 ng/mL for DON-Ab coated ELISA and from 25 to 500 ng/mL for DON-Ag coated ELISA. 50% of inhibitory concentration values of DON, HT-2, 15-acetyl-DON, and nivalenol were 23.44, 22,545, 5,518 and 5,976 ng/mL based on the DON-Ab coated ELISA.... -
Alteration of Substrate Specificity by Common Variants, E158K/E308G and V257M, in Human Hepatic Drug-metabolizing Enzyme, Flavin-containing Monooxygenase 3
Jung-KyuLee, Ju-HeeKang, Young-NamCha, Woon-GyeChung, , Chang-ShinPark 대한생리학회-대한약리학회 The Korean Journal of Physiology & Pharmacology 6 Pages
대한생리학회-대한약리학회 The Korean Journal of Physiology & Pharmacology 2003, Vol.7 No.3 6 157-162 (6 pages)
Our earlier studies found a significant correlation between the activities of ranitidine N-oxidation catalyzed by hepatic flavin-containing monooxygenase (FMO) and the presence of mutations in exon 4 (E158K) and exon 7 (E308G) of the FMO3 gene in Korean volunteers. However, caffeine N-1 demethylation (which is also partially catalyzed by FMO) was not significantly correlated with these FMO3 mutations. In this study, we examined another common mutation (V257M) in exon 6 of FMO3 gene. The V257M... -
Three-dimensional porous graphene materials for environmental applications
Muruganantham Rethinasabapathy, Sung-Min Kang, Sung-Chan Jang, Yun Suk Huh 한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 13 Pages
한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 2017, Vol.22 1 1-13 (13 pages)
Porous materials play a vital role in science and technology. The ability to control their pore structures at the atomic, molecular, and nanometer scales enable interactions with atoms, ions and molecules to occur throughout the bulk of the material, for practical applications. Three-dimensional (3D) porous carbon-based materials (e.g., graphene aerogels/hydrogels, sponges and foams) made of graphene or graphene oxide-based networks have attracted considerable attention because they offer low...
