The clpks18 gene was first cloned and identified in Curvularia lunata. It contains 6571 base pairs (bp) and an 6276 bp open reading frame encoding 2091 amino acids. The ClPKS18 deletion mutant displayed an albino phenotype, and almost lost the ability to product 5-(hydroxymethyl) furan-2-carboxylate (M5HF2C) toxin, implying that clpks18 gene in C. lunata is not only involved in 1,8-dihydroxynaphthalene melanin synthesis, but also relatively associated with M5HF2C toxin biosynthesis of the... -

The prediction model developed in this study may help practitioners to monitor such children’s BMI, especially in detecting the signs of severe overweight, obesity, and underweight among such children. role in M. oryzae development. To understand the roles of MoSDR1, the deletion mutant ΔMosdr1 for the gene was obtained via homology-dependent gene replacement. As expected, ΔMosdr1 was nonpathogenic; moreover, the mutant displayed pleiotropic defects in conidiation, conidial germination, appressorium formation, penetration, and growth inside host tissues. These results suggest that MoSDR1 functions as a key metabolic enzyme in the regulation of development and pathogenicity in M. oryzae. -
