배추흰나비(Pieris rapae L.)의 심근주록세포와 익상근을 투과 및 주사전자현미경을 이용하여 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 신근주록세포 : 긴 사상형의 주록세포들은 섬유성막에 둘러싸여져 있었고, 이들은 심장의 양측에 평행하게 심근주록세포총을 만들었으며, 부분적으로 서로 접하기도 하였고, 세포소기관들은 빈약하였다. 주록세포의 핵주변 세포질내에는 세포의 장축방향으로 배열된 미세소관다발이 한 계막에 싸여 부산되어 있는 것이 특징적으로 나타났다. 또한 개개의 미세소관은 9개의 subunit로 구성되어 있었다. 익상근 : 익상근은 분지형으로써 심장을 이루는 근섬유로부터 뻗어나가 배판에 접하고 있는 상피세포와 연결되었다. 익상근세포간에는 desmosome이 많이 관찰되었다.
The ultrastructure on the periparal cell cord and alary muscle of 5-day-old cabbage butterfly, Pieris rapae, were carried out using the transmission and scanning electron microtcope. The results are as follows. The peripheral cell cord: The fibrous membrane hounded perpiheral cells locating each side of the myocardium and forming the peripheral cell cords and partially contacted with myocardium. The cell organelles are poorly developed. However a lot of microtubule bundles bounded single membrane arranging along the long axis to the peripheral cell are scattered near the nucleus and each microtubule consists of 9 subunits. The alary muscle: The irregulary branched alary muscles are extended from the longitudinal muscles of the myocardium and the irregulary arranged alary muscles are attached at the epidermis under the terga. The desmosomes are observed between the alary muscle cells.
