Authors report six cases of necrotizing pancreatitis evaluated by computed tomography. Among 6 cases, there is low density lesion in the enlarged pancreas in four cases contaning small air at periphery in there cases : isodense lesion on precontrast but prominant low density lesion on postcontrast study in one case, and wide distributed air shadow in pancreas and adjacent structure in one case. Computed tomography 8s useful for detection of necrosis in pancreas and its extent to adjacent organs.
