We report a case of renal oncocytoma in 47-year-old woman. Renal oncocytomas, also known as oxyphilic adenomas and proximal tubular adenomas, are benign tumors of the renal parenchyma which arise from the proximal tubular epithelial cells. They appear radiographically as solid masses which are hypervascular on angiography. The classic angiographic findings for the oncocytoma include a spoke-wheel configuration, a homogeneous nephrogram and a sharp smooth rim, but are not pathognomic. Histopathological studies confirm the renal oncocytoma, they show uniform packets of eosinophilic cytoplasm and the cytoplasm is filled with innumerable mitochondria.
