한국산 잠자리 18종(6과)을 대상으로 성충의 지방산조성을 gas-liquid chromatography로 분석한 결과, 13종의 지방산이 확인되었으며 그 중 cis-11 (9)-octadecenoic acid와 cis-9, 12 (& 6, 9)-octadecadienoic acid가 상대적으로 높은 함량을 보였다. 분석된 잠자리종들의 지방산함량 패턴은 $C_{18：1}$ (26.77%), $C_{18:2}$ (20.25%), $C_{16:0}$ (13.27%). $C_{16:1}$ (9.78%), $C_{18:3}$ (8.54%), $C_{18:0}$ (6.84%), $C_{20:5}$ (4.59%), $C_{20:3}$ (2.23%), $C_{18:4}$ (2.01%), $C_{14:0}$ (1.98%), $C_{22:1}$ (1.89%), $C_{14:1}$ (0.95%), $C_{20:4}$ (0.94%)로 나타났다._{14:1}$</TEX> (0.95%), $C_{20:4}$ (0.94%)로 나타났다.
Fatty acid compositions in the adult 18 Odonatan species (6 families) were analyzed using by GLC. Total of the 13 fatty acids detected; cis-11 (& 9)-octadecenoic acid and cis-9, 12 (& 6.9) -octadecadienoic acid showed high relative contents. The composition patterns of the pooled fatty acids from the examined Odonatan species were as follows; C$_{18:1}$ (26.77%), C$_{18:2}$ (20.25%), C$_{16:0}$ (13.27%).
