The world is rapidly changing in all its socio - economic development. At this point, we are facing increasing internationalization, democratization and interdependence. As a divided semi-developing nation, Korea is absolutely essential to be prepared for the changing conditions of the world social-political, economic environment and the growing expectation of reunification. The requires that the Korean government reassess existing governmental structures and if necessary, reform them to meet the challenges and needs of the "new world order" What follows are recommendations reform of the Korean governmental system to that will serve currently weak : (1) To establish a more efficient governmental organ that will serve to formulate, new long term plans, policies and goals on the basis of efficiency. (2) To establish a more efficient governmental organ that will serve to actively encourage mutual cooperation and support among various ministries government organs in meeting the standard, purpose and object of governmental policies. (3)To establish a commission that will serve to formulate the integration of social and economic policies in certain sectors. (4) To exand the existing social welfare system as a foundation toward reunification. (5) To establish a governmental organ that will serve to acquire information from abroad including a nations and international organizations and further to serve the function of allowing access and distributing said information to governmental organs and business enterprises. (6) To make more effective the judiciary and civil review system of the government so as to enhance governmental responsibility and efficiency toward its citizens. (7) To reform existing organs and establish new organs within the presidential department so as to enhance governmental efficiency.
