본 논문에서는 기존 서책형 교과서의 단점을 보완하기 위한 전자교과서의 기능을 정의한다. 또한 인터넷상에서 전자교과서를 상호운영하기 위하여 전자문서 교환 표준인 XML로 표현하기 위한 구체적 방법을 제안한다. 그리고 다양한 기능을 보여주기 위한 전자교과서를 설계하고 구현한다. 마지막으로 브라우저를 통하여 구현한 전자교과서를 다양한 상황에서 활용하는 예를 보인다.
In this paper, we define the functions of e-textbook(electronic textbook) for complementing weak points of traditional textbooks. Also, we propose a markup language format for representing e-textbook with XML which is a standard of interoperability on the internet. And we design and implement an e-textbook which shows the various functions of the e-textbook. Finally, we show some examples which make use of the developed e-textbook using the browser.
