유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅이라는 화두가 새로운 국가성장동력으로 부상하면서 이에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 범죄 예방분야의 참여와 대응이 시급한 실정이다. 유비쿼터스란 IT 네트워크가 일상화되는 개념으로 6A(Anytime, Anywhere, Anybody, Anynetwork, Anydevice, Anyservice)의 실현을 기반으로 한다. 이에 IT 기술과 범죄예방분야를 접목하여 ITS를 발전시키고 있듯이, 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅과 범죄예방분야 기술의 접목을 통한 u-범죄예방 개념을 논의해야 할 시점이다.
As the concept of Ubiquitous Computing has become an important issue, we need to have a voice in the field of Crime Prevention Technology. Ubiquitous Computing means that IT network based on realization of 6A(Anytime, Anywhere, Anybody, Anynetwork, Anydevice, Anyservice) is deeply penetrated into our daily life. As ITS has developed with the aid of IT and Crime Prevention Technology together, we need to discuss u-Crime Prevention or Crime Prevention sector is mentioned as a major application of Ubiquitous Computing.
