The effect of drawing ratio and drawing temperature on the structure and physical properties of PET tire cord filaments were investigated using wide-angle X-ray diffraction, density, quantity of meso-phase, tensile test and birefringence. PET tire cord filaments were drawn at 80, 90, and $100^{circ}C$. WAXD equatorial profile results had shown that the reflection observed at $2 heta=17.4^{circ}$ and $25.9^{circ}$ are assigned to the (010) and (100) reflections, and the reflection peak was sharper at higher drawing temperature and ratio. The density increased as drawing temperature and drawing ratio increased. The amount of three phases in the filament; crystalline phase, oriented meso-phase and amorphous, was estimated through the X-ray intensity separation procedure. The amount of meso-phase estimated from X-ray peak using a Lorenzian peak width analysis program. It had been shown that the degree of meso-phase increased as drawing temperature decreased at above glass transition temperature. And the degree of meso-phase increased as drawing ratio increased. It tended to samples were drawn to ratio 7, most degree of meso-phase sample had higher tensile strength than others. The tensile strength and birefringence increased as the degree of meso-phase increased.
