Quality management on the whole construction phase is very important to improve the construction efficiency and achieve the high-quality building. Especially the quality of design is very critical in achieving the quality of construction, but decrease of the design quality has become one of important issue in the apartment construction projects. To solve this problem, this research performs an analysing of the main causes of design quality declining from a contractor of view using QFD process and considering how to cope with this situation.
