This research is to grasp sustainability in urban improvement promotion projects of Daejeon city and to provide factors of sustainability in terms of urban regeneration. The urban improvement promotion project which is implemented by renovation and remodeling, is getting more important and its sustainable factors should be provided in the process of making a comprehensive plan. The results of this study are expected to lay groundwork for strategies of sustainable development, especially for living environment and housing quality in the old region of Daejeon city.
