The purpose of this study was to analyze the apprehension and perception of the teachers on the internet\'s educational effects, to investigate the problems and change of direction for education utilizing internet in early childhood education.
To achieve its purpose, the questions for this study are as follows:
1. What is the teacher\'s perception on the internet\'s educational effects in early childhood education?
2. What is the Change of direction and problems of Internet use by teachers in early childhood education?
Accordingly, This study analyzed a total of 508 sets of questionaires and it\'s data have been used to investigate the teacher\'s apprehension degree and perception on the internet\'s educational effects in early childhood education all over the nation. The data were collected using a questionaire designed by the researcher and analyzed by frequency analysis and cross- tabs analysis. In each analysis, the significance level was .05(5%) and SPSSWIN(Ver. 10) was used for analysis.
The findings of this study are summarized as follows.
1) There was some significant difference by regional groups(3/6 items) with respect to the teacher\'s perception on the internet\'s educational effects in early childhood education. There was no significant difference by facility groups.
2) There was some significant difference by regional groups, facility groups with respect to the teacher\'s problems perception degree on the internet\'s educational effects in early childhood education. There was some significant difference by only regional groups with respect to the teacher\'s change of direction perception degree.
