The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of fire-safety knowledge and attitude in high school boy
students upon fire-prevention performance. This study carried out targeting 319 boy students at 3 high schools in G Province.
Data collection was made from June 22 to September 15, 2009. SPSS WIN 12.0 Version was used for statistical processing.
Statistical significance was set at p<0.05. Results are as follows: In the correlation among fire-safety knowledge, attitude,
and fire-prevention performance, all spheres showed positive correlation (p<0.01). As for the influence of fire-safety knowledge
and attitude upon fire-prevention performance, the fire-safety attitude (b=0.668, t=13.467) was indicated to have significant
influence upon fire-prevention performance (p<0.001).
