The purpose of this study is to provide the cases of curricular operation of schools that help students to acquire life skills internalized with creativity and personality through physical activity and grow up righteously transferring it to their everyday life by operating integrated physical education curriculum in small-size elementary schools. In the research process, the author adopted Beane (1995, 1997)’s concept definition of integration and conducted research based on the extended value of integration, and for the process of peer deliberation, Korthagen (1985)’s ALACT model taking the form of spiral circulation was selected. The study participants were 15 students (7 boys and 8 girls) and 4 male teachers, and the research lasted for about 18 months. To overcome the limitations of physical education performed in a small class, the researcher provided integrated PE class to improve students’ satisfaction with PE class and formed a field of exchanging creative ideas with opportunities to do activities based on thinking in a community. Also, from the aspects of personality, it was possible to cultivate the positive value of emotional, social, and sportsmanship. The application of the physical activity program within the school curriculum intrigued not only teachers but consumers of education and residents as well and allowed schools to play their roles as a center of education in the region. It is expected that this study might draw people’s attention hence physical education can be an important reason to vitalize not only students but these small-size elementary schools that are the mental core as well as cultural centers of an alienated community.
