In this study the researcher described the early childhood educational curriculum based on Rudolf Steiner’s anthroposophy. In Steiner’s educational philosophy, the human is the most empathized component. Thus, the whole Steiner curriculum emphasizes a human-centered education of love and care. Steiner established his own unique doctrine called anthroposophy and the Waldorf Kindergarten, also called as Steiner’s kindergarten, runs early childhood programs based on anthroposophy. This early childhood curriculums based on anthroposophy is centered on developmental stage-specific education, children-focused education, and integrative education. The primary purpose of Waldorf Kindergarten is to expect to ‘be a child’ and the organization seeks for education to make well-rounded individuals with healthy body and wisdom. Therefore, in the entire process of the education, younger children are educated to improve their health and strength while nurturing liberal spirit and smart intelligence. Every part of Steiner’s early childhood education stresses choices and proactive participation. The educational model is expected to be a good model for Korean kindergarten education as well.
