본 연구는 현실치료 집단프로그램이 유아들의 자기개념과 교사들이 평가한 행동발달 및 학습관심 에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 유치원의 7세반 원아를 대상으로 현실치료 프로그램을 10회기 실시하였다. 프로그램 전, 후에 행동발달 관찰척도, 자기개념 검사, 학습관심 및 창의성 발달검사를 시행하였다. 자료는 이원변량분석 하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 현실치료 프로그램을 실행 한 실험집단은 통제집단에 비해 유아의 자기개념이 향상되었다. 둘째, 현실치료 프로그램을 실행한 실험집단은 통제집단에 비해 유아의 행동발달이 향상되었다. 셋째, 현실치료 프로그램을 실행한 실험 집단은 통제집단에 비해 유아의 학습에 대한 관심과 창의성이 향상되었다.
The present study attempts to consider if a group reality therapy program brings about a positive change in the self-concept of kindergarten children compared with that of the control group as well as if there is any desirable change in their behavioral development and their interests in learning perceived by the teachers. A reality therapy program was conducted to seven-year-old children in a kindergarten, and the result is as follows. First, the reality therapy program has elevated self-concept of kindergarten children. Second, the reality therapy program has decreased the maladaptive behaviors in the kindergarten children Third, the reality therapy program has a positive effect on their elevated interests in learning and creativity.
